Educational Psychologist

Dr Hayley White

I am an experienced, HCPC registered, Educational Psychologist dedicated to supporting children and young people (working in Hampshire and surrounding areas). With a focus on emotional well-being, I work collaboratively with pupils, parents, and educational settings to help them thrive.


My specialist areas of interest include:

Individual assessments

I offer individual Educational Psychology assessments which aim to provide a holistic view of the interacting factors which help or hinder a pupils sucess and emotional well-being. This assessment then informs person-centred action planning and intervention.

  • Learning difficulties
  • Social communication difficulties
  • Self-esteem and confidence 
  • Emotional regulation and behavioural needs

I am based in Winchester and work across Hampshire and surrounding areas. 

Educational Settings

I work with early years settings, schools and colleges to provide whole-setting systemic planning, bespoke training and staff supervision. 

Therapeutic Intervention

I offer the following Therapeutic approaches:

  • Theraplay Level 1,  Group and Sunshine Circles (including MIM assessment) for schools and families. 
  • Overcoming Anixety parenting programme
  • Drawing and Talking 
  • Compassion Focused Therapy approaches
  • Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy approaches
  • Homunculi approach 
  • Nurture groups intervention

Parent support

I offer parents problem-solving consultation as well as parent-focused therapeutic intervention (such as Theraplay and Overcoming anxiety).

Daily rate

£600

For individual assessment and training packages. 

Please note. individual assessments usually require 1.5 days.

Hourly rate

£80

For all individual pieces of work, e.g. consultation, supervision and bespoke therapeutic sessions.
